A sheer delight for all who walk -

and those who wish they did.

SIX FEET to Land's End tells the story of two World War II veterans, escorted by a stonemason, who attempt to walk 350 miles from Cheltenham to Land's End.

The incident filled journey along England's unique footpath network passes through spectacular countryside, from the Cotswolds, through the Mendips, Exmoor, Devon and Cornwall.

"This story is an inspiration for all of us who are

            getting that little bit older.

Not only is it the tale of a remarkable achievement,

but it is a really good read, full of humour and humanity."

Sir Chris Bonington, CBE
